For more information click here. Don Cornelius "That's REALTOR® to you, Buddy!" Please remember that REALTOR® is a trademark. You must always use uppercase and include the ®. Also, the most correct usage would be "Don Cornelius, REALTOR®". NOT something like, "The best REALTOR® in town", "Your REALTOR®..." or "The REALTOR®..." Go to www.realtor.org and search for "trademark" to find all the rules on using the trademark correctly AND how NOT to use it. Don Cornelius THE PANAMA CITY ENGINEERING DIVISION will supply flood data on property located within the city limits. Additionally, copies of elevation certificates for buildings contructed within Panama City since 1992 can be obtained in the Bay County Builders Services office at 640 Mulberry Avenue. You can contact that office by telephone at (850) 784-4039 or by fax at (850) 874-6110. A collection of documents pertaining to the National Flood Insurance Program is also available for public use at the Bay County Library. Proposed NEW Name for Same OLD subareas! For a very long time our Subareas have been the same as they are today. The Metes & Bounds description of the areas can be viewed in the Forum. In the very old days we distributed the MLS in book form and in the front of the book was both the metes & bounds AND a map. It was a terrible looking map but still gave everyone a visual representation of the subareas. We have a very simple drawing of the maps. Please view them here. As City Limits have moved since our subareas were last drawn in March of 1991 our users have become confused about which subarea their listings may be in. The MLS Committee requested that we remove city names from the Subarea names in an effort to remind us all that a sub area does not follow changing city limits. This has been accomplished. The best way to see the Subareas on a map is to use the Overlay Options when you are looking at the List-It Map. Questions? Call us or come to class. Don Cornelius, MLS Director

The Leadership Class is collecting donations for Covenant Hospice and the Rescue Mission- we are taking movies (vcr and dvd, pg rated and g rated) for Covenant Hospice for caretakers and patients; for the Rescue Mission, we are collecting Hurricane supplies (batteries, flashlights, tarps, etc) and money to help re-build their supply in case of a storm- most of their supplies were used last year (imagine that...) and their population increases dramatically when we have an evacuation! Jan Cox 814-2252 Copyright!! MLS Listings and Entire Database. Generally speaking anything that you think up and write into the text fields of the MLS you would have the copyright on. The photographs are also considered to be the copyright of the person who took the photo. The database as a whole is copyrighted by BCAR. When you enter a listing into the MLS you have the option to Clone the listing. You would get copyrighted material, including the photos if you select that option. You should either get the permission of the last listing agent/broker OR delete the photos and erase the text that was entered by the agent. Use your own imagination to describe your offering. Take your own photos. (And for goodness sake, measure the rooms and figure sqft yourself!)
