Bay County Association of REALTORS®

IDX - Internet Data Exchange

Solid Earth Geographics. This is the company that created the List-It MLS program that we use today. They have a public side to our MLS so it was a very easy step for them to provide you with an IDX link that you can purchase to put on your web site. Samples can be found at: www.gcrealty.net. To sign up for their link go into the MLS and click on SETUP. Go to the Gateway tab and follow the instructions.

DM Webhosting has a different solution with a couple of twists. You can search by street number or street name. This can be a great tool. Your customer is driving around the neighborhood that they would like to live in a they see a For Sale sign in the yard. When they get back home they can find the information on the home by entering the street name into your database search screen. Here is a sample of the link you will use http://panamacityagents.com/johnpankhurst/data/db.cgi?db=default&uid=&view_search=1

Samples: JohnEPankhurst.com; SugarShoreProperties.com; BuyBayCounty.com

The Florida Association of REALTORS® has IDX available for users as long as their broker has approved it and set it up. To see if you already have it available there go to Florida Living Network and click on Find A REALTOR®. Search for yourself. Once you find yourself you click on your name and you will be taken to your FREE web site you were given just for being a member of FAR. If you have a Search Properties button in your menu then your Broker has already set up IDX for you! You just need to get the link and email it to your web master. You will find it by clicking on Personal Profile on that page and logging in using the same username/password that you have for www.FloridaRealtors.org.
