Bay County Association of REALTORS® Awards Program

This year the Awards Committee has placed the nominating form online in the Announcements seciton of the MLS. Nominating deadline this year is January 7, 2008 at 5:00pm. The only place your can submit your nomination online is from that location because it gives a positive record of who nominated each nominee since you must log into the MLS using your unique username and password.

There will not be any awards based on production given this year. The awards committee decided that production awards are better handled at the company level. If a participant or user wishes to use the statistics generated by the MLS program to show production levels, the report may not include all sales an agent or company participated in.

2007 Service Awards  - Click on the image to see a copy of the News Herald ad that shows the winners of the 2007 Service Awards. The Service Awards Annual Luncheon was held in February. It was very well attended and a big success! The Beach Boardwalk Resort was the site of the event and as usual eveything was perfect. Highlights included the announcement that the Volunteer of the Year award was renamed to the Roy Crecelius Distinguish Service Award was Steve Hinman was the first recipient, Don Cooley was presented the President's Award, Jim Gardner-REALTOR® Citizen of the Year, Tom Neubauer-REALTOR® Broker of the Year and REALTOR® Ambassador, Jennifer Bowman-REALTOR® of the Year and Gina Mann-Affiliate of the Year. BROKER of the Year This award is presented each year to one REALTOR® based on their overall contribution to the community, Association of REALTORS® and the real estate profession. Such items to consider include participation in local and state REALTOR® activities, civic and other community activites as well as promotion of the principles of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics exemplified by the induvidual. Persons nominated must be members in good standing with the Bay County Association of REALTORS® and have his/her name placed into nomination by a member in good standing. The Awards Committee will make the decision by majority vote. Their decision is final. Please nominate individuals you feel are most deserving & include a summary supporting your nomination. REALTOR® of the Year This award is presented each year to one REALTOR® based on their overall contribution to the community, Association of REALTORS® and the real estate profession. BROKER/REALTOR® Citizen of the Year This award is presented that person who has best demonstrated to the community that "good REALTORS® are also good citizens." The award is not based on production but rather on concrete, demonstrated examples of good citizenship within the community. Nominations are open to Association members at large. Please nominate individuals you feel are most deserving & include a summary supporting your nomination. Deadline: January 7 - 5:00 PM. AFFILIATE of the Year This award is presented each year to one Affiliate member. The Awards Committee will make the decision by majority vote. Their decision is final.
